We can send you a self-impression kit or refer you to a local provider to have your ear impressions done. You will have to purchase a lab set of custom earplugs.

Contact Mark at mark@fbgear.com or (909)964-3695. We will schedule a technician to come to your location, for groups of 3 or more the $35.00 service fee is waived. For distances over 50 miles a travel fee may added. If you have a local Technician you can contact them directly.

- I have been told the only place to get custom earplugs is at a gunhow. Is this true?
No, we have a location in Diamond Bar, CA(appointment only), a mobile team and technicians located throughout the state. Although we try to be at all the local gunshows, that is not the only place to get custom earplugs.

- Will I be able to hear when wearing solid ear protectors?
The main pathway for sound to travel through the ear is via the outer ear canal. Sound is also transmitted to the auditory nerve (inner ear) through bone conduction and through the eustation tubes. As a result, if the outer ear is blocked you should be able to hear.

- What considerations should I make for ear protection if I wear a helmet?
Usually most users request a filter when driving a motor vehicle and they also choose to have no handles or cords on their devices.

- Are ear protectors designed for sleeping or meditation different from the usual customized ear plugs?
Yes. We usually design the canal shorter and recess the exterior portion of the mold so it does not interfere with head movement.
